Player movement speed and jump height are controlled by a dice roll.  Every time the player hit the ground, they will automatically jump (or bounce!) back up with varying heights, based on the dice rolled. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the brainstorming session of idea pitches, adding ideas and giving feedback to other pitches.

  • Rapid prototype demo for the idea in Unity. The first playable demo contains player movement with randomized jump height/speed, as well as some obstacles and platforming prototypes.

  • Assist programmers in developing game systems such as Status Effects, enemy behaviors, and obstacles.

  • Implementing 2D shadow shader and implementing animations for player and enemy characters.

  • Implementing User Interfaces and their behaviors. This includes Main Menu flows, player HUDs, as well as randomizing die faces when the movements are being randomized.
